The reports of Russian mass media about probable acquisition of 48 Su-35s by China are incorrect, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Chinese Ministry of Defense.
"The reports saying that Russia and China have reached the agreement on acquisition of 48 Su-35s are incorrect", - said in the Ministry’s statement.
At that, the PRC’s Ministry of Defense has expressed appreciation of military-technical cooperation between the two countries, noting that “military-technical cooperation between Russia and China is the important part of strategic partnership between the countries. It is constantly developing and it yields the results".
The strategic partnership between Russia and China is developing sustainably; the parties cooperate in different areas and achieve good results, noted in the statement.
We remind you that Kommersant has reported on Tuesday with reference to a source in Russian military-industrial complex that Russia and China are close to signing the contract on delivery of 48 Su-35s with a total value of $4 billion.
